Abstract

Literasi kesehatan merupakan kemampuan penting dalam mengakses, memahami, menilai dan menggunakan informasi kesehatan untuk pengambilan keputusan yang tepat. Mahasiswa kesehatan diharapkan memiliki literasi kesehatan yang baik namun berbagai penelitian menunjukkan tingkat literasi kesehatan mahasiswa masih bervariasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis tingkat literasi kesehatan mahasiswa Jurusan Kesehatan Perguruan Tinggi A menggunakan instrumen EUHCS-16. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain kuantitatif deskriptif dan dilaksanakan pada mahasiswa Jurusan Kesehatan Perguruan Tinggi A. Sampel penelitian berjumlah 105 mahasiswa yang dipilih menggunakan teknik total sampling. Variabel yang diteliti adalah tingkat literasi kesehatan. Pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner European Health Literacy Survey Questionnaire versi 16 item (EUHCS-16). Analisis data dilakukan secara deskriptif menggunakan distribusi frekuensi, persentase, dan indeks skor literasi kesehatan (0–16) yang dikategorikan menjadi inadequate, problematic, dan sufficient. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan sebagian besar responden berada pada kategori problematic sebanyak 57 mahasiswa (54,3%), diikuti kategori sufficient sebanyak 30 mahasiswa (28,6%), dan kategori inadequate sebanyak 18 mahasiswa (17,1%). Sebagian besar responden menunjukkan kemudahan dalam memahami informasi kesehatan dan instruksi tenaga kesehatan namun masih mengalami kesulitan dalam menilai kredibilitas informasi kesehatan digital. Tingkat literasi kesehatan mahasiswa Jurusan Kesehatan Perguruan Tinggi A sebagian besar berada pada kategori problematic, yang menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan literasi kesehatan mahasiswa masih perlu ditingkatkan, khususnya dalam aspek evaluasi dan pemanfaatan informasi kesehatan secara kritis.
