Journal of Local Therapy

Journal of Local Therapy (JLT) is a scientific journal that publishes original research articles, review articles, case reports, special articles, and illustrative articles focusing on local and traditional health therapies. The journal serves as a medium for disseminating scientific findings, conceptual ideas, and applied research results in the field of health development, particularly those related to local wisdom and traditional practices.

The Journal of Local Therapy focuses on major issues in applied health sciences, including but not limited to health professionals such as Nursing, Midwifery, Nutrition, Food Analysis, and other related health disciplines. In addition, the journal emphasizes public health issues addressed through local approaches, including traditional techniques, local medicine practices, and community-based health interventions specific to certain regions, areas, or countries.

The scope of the journal includes, but is not limited to, the following topics:

• Local and traditional herbal sciences (formulations, medicinal plants, and properties of natural ingredients)
• Nutrition, health diets, and food derived from local or traditional ingredients
• Local treatment techniques, such as acupuncture, acupressure, aromatherapy, and other complementary therapies

The Journal of Local Therapy is published twice a year.
Until 2025, the journal was published in February and August.
Starting from 2026, the journal is published twice a year in April and October.

There is no article processing charge (APC) for manuscript submission or publication. All manuscripts must be submitted through the Online Journal System (OJS) at: http://ojs.poltekkes-malang.ac.id/index.php/JLT
