Although this contamination is typically viewed as a hindrance, contaminant microorganisms can be utilized for educational purposes. This study aims to develop a method for creating microbiological slides from contaminant organisms in educational laboratories and to evaluate their effectiveness in supporting microbiology learning. The research adopts a descriptive qualitative approach. The results revealed the identification of six species of contaminant molds successfully cultured on growth media. Microscopic analysis of the slides prepared from these molds demonstrated clear spore and hyphal structures under the microscope, making them effective teaching materials for studying fungal morphology. Conclusion: Slides derived from airborne laboratory contaminants can be utilized as teaching materials to support microbiology learning while simultaneously raising awareness about the importance of contamination control.
Atik Kurniawati, Tanto Hariyanto, Hupitoyo Hupitoyo Copyright (c) 2025 Atik Kurniawati, Tanto Hariyanto, Hupitoyo Hupitoyo https://ojs.poltekkes-malang.ac.id/jpk/article/view/5113 Fri, 25 Apr 2025 00:00:00 +0000 PROVISION OF PROSTHESIS SERVICES AND PERSONAL ACCOMPANYING FOR POST-TRANSTIBIAL AMPUTATION PATIENT AFTER RECEIVING PROSTHESIS FOR ECONOMICALLY DISADVANTAGE COMMUNITIES https://ojs.poltekkes-malang.ac.id/jpk/article/view/4392
Amputation is the act of separating part or all of an extremity of the body as a last option if the organ problem cannot be repaired by other methods or can pose a risk of infection. Post-amputation often results in feelings of loss, and lack of self-confidence, and hinders daily activities. A prosthesis is a solution to replace missing body parts, allowing amputees to be independent and not dependent on other people. However, cost is an obstacle for economically disadvantaged people to be able to have a prosthesis. This research aims to provide prosthesis services and assistance for post-amputation people with economic limitations. This research method uses qualitative research with a case study research type. Data were collected using analytical interviews and observations on respondents who had experienced transtibial amputation aged 45 years. The results demonstrate respondents' understanding of the importance of social support and prosthesis accessibility. The designs used correlation analysis with retrospective uses quota sampling technique. Data were obtained from the maternal cohort and observation sheet instruments using a statistical test of contingency coefficient. The test result using contingency coefficient obtained a weak relationship of 29% (p-value 0,038 < ? 0,05) is relationship between the risk parity with the preeclampsia incidence and a weak relationship of 35% (p-value 0,009 < ? 0,05) is relationship between the age of the at-risk mother with the preeclampsia incidence. Therefore, researchers suggest that cooperation between health workers and pregnant women can be carried out well because with ANC, preeclampsia screening can be routinely carried out.
Aura Fatimah Az-Zahra, Lulut Sasmito, Syiska Atik Maryanti Copyright (c) 2025 Aura Fatimah Az-Zahra, Lulut Sasmito, Syiska Atik Maryanti https://ojs.poltekkes-malang.ac.id/jpk/article/view/4757 Mon, 28 Apr 2025 00:00:00 +0000 DIFFERENCES IN ANATOMICAL INFORMATION BETWEEN PHASE ENCODING DIRECTION OF LUMBAL MRI T2WI FSE SEQUENCE OF SAGITTAL SECTION IN HERNIA NUCLEUS PULPOSUS (HNP) CASE UNDERTAKEN AT HERMINA HOSPITAL DEPOK https://ojs.poltekkes-malang.ac.id/jpk/article/view/4766
radiographically, Lumbar MRI examination is located in the part of the waist? whereby there is a lot of anatomy one of which is medulla spinalis. In relation to which, in the medulla spinalis area often happen ghosting artifacts which can disturbs the information of Lumbar MRI anatomical image, for that reasons, it needs several numbers of treatments like to apply such a proper phase encoding. In this matter, the application of phase encoding constitutes a possible method which can minimize the artifacts namely by exchanging the direction of phase encoding hence the artifacts is going to the other direction and subsequently the artifacts does not disturb the desired anatomical object.? this research aims to analyze the effect of using the Anterior-Posterior and Superior-Inferior Phase Encoding Direction towards the information of lumbar MRI anatomical image on T2WI FSE sequence of sagittal section undertaken at Hermina Hospital Depok. this research applies quantitative method with analytical approach executed at Hermina Hospital Depok starting from May up to June 2024. Meanwhile, the population of this research is all Lumbar MRI patients with 16 samples which are taken in a purposive sampling basis. As for the method of data collection, it is conducted through among the other things observation and experiment, and then the instrument and analysis of this research are namely worksheet, observation worksheet, questionnaires sheet, documentation, and DVD-R. Thereafter, data processing is carried out by applying statistical test, beginning with normality test. Furthermore to test the hypothesis it is executed by applying Paired Sample T-Test if the data is normally distributed and Test Wilcoxon if the data is not normally distributed. this research suggests that the result of Wilcoxon test, obtains that p-value (0.001) ? 0.05 is for detailed anatomy, p-value (0.000) ? 0.05 is for ghosting artifacts. This matter explains that in the assessment of anatomical details and contrast image, there is a difference between the use of Anterior-Posterior and Superior-Inferior Phase Encoding. Whereas for the evaluation of contrast p-value (0.060) ? 0.05 it can be explained that there is not any difference between the use of Phase Encoding Anterior-Posterior and Superior-Inferior in Lumbar MRI examination T2WI FSE sequence of sagittal section. Apparently, Phase Encoding Anterior-Posterior can provides detail anatomy and ghosting artifacts in more optimal image compared to that in Phase Encoding Superior-Inferior

Monicha Patresia, Eka Putra Syarif H, Eny Supriyaningsih Copyright (c) 2025 Monicha Patresia https://ojs.poltekkes-malang.ac.id/jpk/article/view/4766 Mon, 28 Apr 2025 00:00:00 +0000 THE EFFECT OF NUTRITION EDUCATION USING BOOKLETS ON KNOWLEDGE, ATTITUDES, INTAKE, AND BODY WEIGHT AMONG OVERWEIGHT ADOLESCENTS AT BHC WONOREJO-JEMBER https://ojs.poltekkes-malang.ac.id/jpk/article/view/4834
The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of nutrition education with booklet media on the level of knowledge, attitudes, energy consumption levels and nutrients (protein, fat, and carbohydrates), and body weight of adolescents with overweight in BHC Wonorejo - Jember tutoring.
