Around the world, many children aged zero to five experienced malnutrition, including a significant number who had low body weight. Insufficient intake of fruits and vegetables caused the body to lack essential nutrients such as vitamins, minerals, and fiber, which potentially led to various illnesses. This research aimed to produce educational media in the form of a healthy human silhouette magnetic board about healthy lifestyles for preschool children. This study used the Research and Development (R&D) method. The research procedure followed the ADDIE model, which consisted of five stages: analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The study was implemented at TK PKK Gandekan from March to April 2025. The expert validation results showed a very feasible category, and the participant trial results also indicated a very feasible category. The products developed, such as boards with pictures of children’s human organs and magnets with images of fruits and vegetables, were attractive and could be understood by preschool children. Subsequent researchers could test the media on more diverse samples and explore additional health aspects, while educational institutions could adopt it as an interactive learning tool with teacher training support.
2026-03-10T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2026 Vania Dwi Lestari, Andi Hayyun Abiddin, Finta Isti Kundarti https://ojs.poltekkes-malang.ac.id/JKT/article/view/6261 The Relationship between the Degree of Intraoperative Bleeding and the Incidence of Postoperative Shivering in Spinal Anesthesia Patients 2026-02-26T04:38:38+00:00 Shefi Salsabila shefirahmasalsabila@gmail.com Dyah Restuning Prihati dyah.erpe@gmail.com Heny Prasetyorini Henybundagavin@gmail.com
Postoperative shivering is a common complication in patients undergoing spinal anesthesia and may increase oxygen consumption, cardiac workload, and delay recovery. Intraoperative bleeding is considered one contributing factor, as blood loss can reduce core body temperature. This quantitative correlational study used a cross-sectional approach involving 76 patients selected through purposive sampling. Intraoperative bleeding was assessed using observation sheets, while shivering was measured using a standardized shivering scale. Data were analyzed using the Spearman Rank test. Most respondents experienced mild shivering (57.9%) and Class 1 intraoperative bleeding (78.9%). Statistical analysis showed a p-value of 0.000 and an r-value of 0.440, indicating a significant moderate positive correlation. Higher degrees of intraoperative bleeding are associated with an increased risk of postoperative shivering in spinal anesthesia patients.
2026-03-10T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2026 Shefi Salsabila, Dyah Restuning Prihati, Heny Prasetyorini https://ojs.poltekkes-malang.ac.id/JKT/article/view/6311 The Effectiveness Of E-Comics Education on The Level of Knowledge About First Aid for Traffic Accident Victims 2026-02-26T03:33:05+00:00 Zhafiirah zhafiirahfira2@gmail.com Dendy Kharisna zhafiirahfira2@gmail.com Wardah zhafiirahfira2@gmail.com Ulfa Hasanah zhafiirahfira2@gmail.com
The number of traffic accidents in Indonesia is still very high, where every year almost 1.3 million people die due to these accidents, and millions of others are injured. Of these accident victims, approximately 30% are children and adolescents, who are the nation's future generation. More than 30% of traffic accident victims are under 25 years old. Traffic accidents are the most dangerous cause of death for people aged 15-29 years. This study aims to determine the effect of E-Comic-based education on the level of knowledge of students at SMAN 1 Pekanbaru City. This type of research is quantitative using a design (Quasy Experiment) with a Pre-test Post-test Nonequivalent Control Group Design approach. This study was conducted at SMAN 1 Pekanbaru City with a total of 40 respondents who were conducted for 1 day. The results of this study obtained a difference in the average knowledge score in the intervention group of 21.65 and a difference in the control group of 12.45. Although both experienced an increase, the average knowledge score in the intervention group was higher than the control group, which means that e-comic-based education is more effective in increasing knowledge than education that only provides PowerPoint. The results of the t-dependent statistical test showed a p-value of 0.000 for the intervention group and the control group, which means a p-value <0.05, so the hypothesis H0 is rejected, which means that e-comics are effective in increasing knowledge about first aid for traffic accident victims at SMAN 1 Pekanbaru City. The results of the t-independent sample t-test showed a p value of 0.003 which means Sig. (2-tailed) <0.05, so the hypothesis H0 was rejected, which means there was a significant difference between the intervention group and the control group. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that e-comic-based education is effective in increasing students' knowledge about first aid for traffic accident victims.

Keywords: Traffic accidents, Knowledge, e-Comics
2026-03-17T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2026 Zhafiirah, Dendy Kharisna, Wardah, Ulfa Hasanah https://ojs.poltekkes-malang.ac.id/JKT/article/view/5963 The Effect of Foot Exercises on ABI Values in Diabetes Mellitus Patients 2026-02-10T06:48:28+00:00 Heru Wiratmoko heru_wiratmoko@yahoo.co.id Endang Purwaningsih endangpurwa@gmail.com Agus Wiwit Suwanto aguswiwit@gmail.com
Abstract: Diabetes Mellitus (DM) is a non-communicable disease that attracts a lot of attention. Severe arterial occlusive disease in the lower extremities in the form of peripheral artery disease (PAD). Type 2 DM sufferers are at two to three times the risk of developing peripheral arterial occlusive disease compared to non-DM sufferers (Jonathan, 2019). One way to detect PAD early can be done by examining the circulation by calculating the Ankle Brachial Index (ABI) value. It is hoped that foot exercises will improve circulation in the peripheral blood vessels in the legs. The aim of the study was to determine the effect of foot exercise intervention on ABI values ??in diabetes mellitus patients. The research method is true experimentation. The research population was diabetes mellitus sufferers in Kutu Wetan village, Kec. Jetis numbered 67 people, the research sample was a purpusive sample of 40 people. Data were collected by examining ABI values ??before and after the DM foot exercise intervention..The results of the Paired T Test obtained values ??(p value = right leg 0.005 and left leg 0.023 ? 0.05) indicating that there is a significant relationship between DM Foot Exercises and ABI Values ??in DM Sufferers.

Keyword: DM Foot Exercises, ABI value, Diabetes Mellitus Patients
2026-03-20T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2026 Heru Wiratmoko, Endang Purwaningsih, Agus Wiwit Suwanto https://ojs.poltekkes-malang.ac.id/JKT/article/view/6222 The Effect of Ling Tien Kung Exercises on Reducing Blood Glucose Levels in the Elderly 2026-01-29T00:42:06+00:00 Andyanita Hermawati andya.nita@yahoo.com Anis Murniati anismurniati@stikestulungagung.ac.id Intan Munawaroh intanm@stikestulungagung.ac.id
Impaired blood glucose regulation is frequently observed in older adults and contributes to an increased risk of metabolic complications. Ling Tien Kung is a form of low-intensity physical exercise that has potential benefits in supporting glycemic control among the elderly. This study aimed to examine blood glucose levels in elderly individuals who regularly participate in Ling Tien Kung exercise and to assess their deviation from established standard values. A quantitative observational analytic design with a single-group approach was employed. Twenty-four elderly participants were recruited using purposive sampling. Blood glucose measurements were obtained using a calibrated glucometer. Data analysis was conducted using the One-Sample Wilcoxon test. The mean blood glucose level was 112.08 mg/dL. The results demonstrated a statistically significant difference between the observed blood glucose levels and the standard reference value (p = 0.008). These findings suggest that blood glucose levels among elderly individuals practicing Ling Tien Kung differ significantly from standard values. Consequently, low self-efficacy may result in suboptimal treatment adherence. During the initial phase of hemodialysis, patients commonly experience difficulties in adapting, but this adaptive ability tends to improve as they gain more experience and understanding of the therapy. Objective: This study aims to examine the relationship between the duration of hemodialysis treatment and self-efficacy among hemodialysis patients. Methods: A quantitative correlational design with a cross-sectional approach was employed. The study sample consisted of 100 hemodialysis patients selected through purposive sampling. The independent variable was the duration of hemodialysis, while the dependent variable was self-efficacy. Self-efficacy was measured using the General Perceived Self-Efficacy questionnaire, and patient medical records were used to determine the duration of hemodialysis. Data analysis was performed using the Spearman Rank correlation test. Result: The results indicated a significant relationship with moderate strenght between the duration of hemodialysis and self-efficacy, with a p-value of 0.000 and a correlation coefficient of 0.448. Conclusion: These findings suggest that the longer patients undergo hemodialysis, the higher their self-efficacy levels. A longer duration of hemodialysis allows for the accumulation of experience and information from healthcare professionals and fellow patients, which contributes to enhanced cognitive functioning. This cognitive improvement supports patients’ understanding, adaptation, and coping abilities, thereby increasing their confidence in managing therapy as reflected in improved self-efficacy.
2026-03-21T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2026 Aulia Fahmi Alfarizi, Taufan Arif, Sulastyawati, Naya Ernawati https://ojs.poltekkes-malang.ac.id/JKT/article/view/6269 The Relationship Between Smoking And Nausea, Vomiting, And Pain In Patients After Spinal Anesthesia Surgery 2026-02-19T03:07:21+00:00 Hindria Elfanti lfantihindria@gmail.com Dyah Restuning Prihati dyah.erpe@gmail.com Dwi Nur Aini dwinuraini@uhws.ac.d
Spinal anesthesia is widely used in surgery, but it can still cause pain and postoperative nausea and vomiting (PONV).
