https://ojs.poltekkes-malang.ac.id/HAJ/article/view/5462

This study aims to examine the relationship between the Individual Performance Commitment and Review (IPCR) of CIMC (City of Ilagan Medical Center) staff nurses and patient satisfaction in maintaining the quality standards of care using a descriptive quantitative approach. The research focuses on measuring the extent to which nurses' performance evaluations, as reflected in their IPCRF scores, correlate with the satisfaction levels reported by patients regarding the care they received. Data were collected through structured surveys distributed to both staff nurses and patients. The IPCRF scores of nurses were analyzed alongside patient satisfaction surveys to identify patterns and relationships. Descriptive statistics, such as mean scores and frequency distributions, were used to analyze the data and provide an overview of the current state of performance and satisfaction. The results highlight a positive correlation between high performance ratings of staff nurses and greater patient satisfaction. This study contributes valuable insights into the role of performance evaluations in healthcare quality, suggesting that improving nurse performance through regular assessments may enhance patient care outcomes. The findings have implications for healthcare institutions looking to improve the quality of care by refining performance management systems for nursing staff.
Angelito Estoesta AlvaradoGloria Ortiz Ablao

https://ojs.poltekkes-malang.ac.id/HAJ/article/view/5550

Teledermatology is emerging as a means of delivering healthcare service to remote areas. In the context of the full implementation of the Universal Health Care, dermatological services can be given to those in the primary care facilities. This study explores the acceptance of teledermatology among primary healthcare workers in Isabela, Philippines, focusing on technological, individual, and organizational factors influencing adoption. Guided by the modified Technology Acceptance Model (TAM), the research evaluates constructs such as perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use, attitude, compatibility, facilitators, subjective norms, and habitual use. A structured survey was administered to 87 purposively selected healthcare professionals, including nurses, midwives, doctors, and barangay health workers. Findings reveal that perceived usefulness and attitude significantly influence intention to use. Younger professionals and nurses exhibited higher acceptance levels, whereas gender and years of service were not significant factors. Despite positive perceptions, challenges remain in habitual use, underscoring the need for reliable internet access, administrative support, and ongoing training. The study affirms the relevance of TAM in this context and highlights the importance of targeted interventions to support sustainable teledermatology integration in primary care settings. In conclusion, this study highlights the acceptance of teledermatology among primary health care workers in Isabela.
Louella Fatima Ramos Bascos

https://ojs.poltekkes-malang.ac.id/HAJ/article/view/5970

Stroke is one of the leading causes of long-term disability that often results in impaired skin integrity due to immobilization. This study aimed to analyze nursing care for stroke patients with impaired skin integrity at Dr. Harjono Regional Hospital, Ponorogo. A case study with a descriptive qualitative approach was conducted on a 66-year-old patient who experienced stroke and pressure ulcers. Data were collected through interviews, observation, physical examination, and risk assessment using the Braden Scale. Nursing interventions included pressure ulcer management, skin condition monitoring, adequate nutritional support, and repositioning every two hours to prevent further tissue damage. The results showed an improvement in the Braden Scale score from 11 (high risk) to 16 (low risk) after seven days of nursing care, indicating better skin condition and reduced tissue impairment. Evaluation revealed that impaired skin integrity problems were resolved following consistent implementation of nursing interventions. This study concludes that a holistic nursing approach, including nutritional support and family involvement, plays an essential role in preventing further complications and enhancing the quality of nursing care in stroke patients.
Agus Wiwit SuwantoEndang PurwaningsihHeru WiratmokoMarcella Linda Indriani

https://ojs.poltekkes-malang.ac.id/HAJ/article/view/5948

Adolescence is a critical developmental period that strongly influences reproductive health, where insufficient knowledge may increase the risk of unwanted pregnancy and sexually transmitted infections. The youth posyandu plays an important role in providing reproductive health education; however, adolescent participation remains low due to limited awareness, stigma, and restricted access to information. This study aimed to examine the relationship between cadre mentoring and adolescent participation in youth posyandu activities in Petungsewu Village, Dau Subdistrict, Malang Regency. A correlational analytic design with a cross-sectional approach was employed, involving 18 cadres and 35 adolescents actively engaged in youth posyandu activities, selected through total sampling. Data were collected using a structured questionnaire and analyzed with the Spearman rank test. Results showed that 50% of cadres provided good mentoring, while 74.3% of adolescents demonstrated moderate participation. The Spearman rank test yielded a p-value of 0.028 and a correlation coefficient of 0.518, indicating a significant positive relationship between cadre mentoring and adolescent participation. It can be concluded that continuous and structured cadre mentoring effectively enhances adolescent engagement in youth posyandu activities. Appropriate mentoring approaches may strengthen adolescents’ sense of support, motivation, and knowledge, thereby encouraging more active participation.
Keyword: Adolescent Health; Adolescent Participation, Cadre Assistance, Youth Posyandu
Ainani HasanahRita YulifahAri Kusmiwiyati
